This motorcycle itinerary starts and ends in Mantova, Lombardy. The loop is approximately 150 km, fully on flat plains. It connects two UNESCO World Heritage cities listed together in 2008: Mantua and Sabbioneta, cradle of Renaissance ideal city planning. The outbound route follows the SP ex SS 420 Sabbionetana from Mantova through Curtatone (Santuario delle Grazie), Marcaria, Gazzuolo, Commessaggio to Sabbioneta. From Sabbioneta the loop descends on SP63 to Viadana (lunch stop). From Viadana, the SP57 Mantova - San Matteo - Viadana climbs north along the Po embankment through Pomponesco, Dosolo, Cavallara, Cizzolo and San Matteo delle Chiaviche, crosses the Oglio river on the historic boat bridge of Torre d'Oglio, and reaches Cesole (Marcaria). SP56 then runs east along the left bank of the Po to Borgoforte, SP54 continues to Bagnolo San Vito, where the SP ex SS 413 Romana crosses the Po on the new arch bridge (2024) and reaches San Benedetto Po with the Polirone Abbey. The return follows the same SP ex SS 413 Romana back across the Po, then SP ex SS 62 della Cisa to Mantova. The itinerary has three modes: Itinerario base (compact half-day), Itinerario con soste (full day with stops at the Grazie sanctuary, Sabbioneta, and Polirone Abbey), Weekend breve tra Sabbioneta e l'Oltrepò mantovano (two days, one overnight). Verification: map_checked on OSM and institutional sources, not physically ridden.
